You've seen the video on YouTube: a mysterious girl named "Bunny" responds to the SNL skit "Dick in a Box" with her own hilarious version from the female point of view. That's right -- "Box in a Box".

Bunny, aka UPenn student Melissa Lamb, lip-synched to Leah Kaufman's voice in the video. The spoof became so popular there is now a follow-up video called "Box in a Box: The Movie".

UChic recently chatted with Bunny about her life as an internet sensation. Read on to find out her thoughts about Justin Timberlake, the reaction from her UPenn classmates, and more!

Thousands of YouTube videos are posted every day, but yours really struck a chord and became popular very quickly. Why do you think that is?

Well, we definitely have Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg to thank. They did the SNL sketch that gave us the idea. But also Leah Kaufman (www.leahkauffman.com) did an amazing job with the song!

How did you get involved with making the video?

Well Leah was heading off to London and they needed a fill in. I responded to a   Craig's List ad for a "girl for a comedy music video" and here I am. I did it mostly because I thought the song was funny...and figured why not?

After it was posted on YouTube, how much time passed before you realized that it was becoming an internet sensation?

The first few days it really didn't get much attention. Then one day Break.com posted it and it got almost 1 million views that day. But it felt like "an internet sensation" mostly when Leah and I were interviewed by MSNBC. And then when someone bought the box used in the video for $1500.

Do you have any idea of what Justin Timberlake and the SNL people think of "Box in a Box"?

Not exactly. Justin was quoted in the the Toronto Star saying "I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it." But then in New York he actually sang their Box song at his concert. And he changed a lyric to "Flag Day"which we did too. So maybe he heard ours and that's why? Or not. I don't know.

What has it been like to be featured in magazines like Rolling Stone and interviewed on MSNBC?

MSNBC was pretty exciting because it was definitely my first time on TV.

What kind of feedback have you been getting from your fellow Penn students about it?
They think it's pretty funny. I think sometimes people see me and it takes them a second to place me as the girl in "that video".

Some people have been making their own "Box" videos in response to yours. Any favorites?

I haven't seen that many. But there is a Facebook group dedicated to Box in a Box where people have posted pictures.

Who are you surprised to have heard from or been contacted by since the video was posted?

I'm surprised some of the countries people write from. We've had emails come to us from China...India...the UK...

Are there any plans to follow up "Box in a Box" videos with other stuff? A book deal was mentioned on your blog.

I think we're going to do another song. And someone did contact us about writing a book, but I don't know if that'll happen.

Since the video, in what ways has your life changed the most, and in what ways has it stayed the same?

I wouldn't say my life has changed. But I have definitely heard plenty of box jokes the past few months...
