	Mike Brown the REMIX Brief: I am a writer (and hip-hop head) from Harlem, NY. My goal is to reach the masses with my words and help the inner city community (esp. Harlem). Detailed: I was born in Haverhill, Massachusettes and moved to Queens, NY when I was 3 (shortly after my parents divorced). My single mother tirelessly worked while my grandmother would look after me. I was always the man of the house. Fast forward to '89- my sister was born. Fast forward to '95- my brother was born. Now, I'm a mostly sheltered teen from Queens starting High School in Harlem... under the supervision of my father. I learned that moving in was nothing like visiting him during summer. After surviving 4 years of High School without a girlfriend and way to many female friends to count, I went to NJIT. Here I met my first love and had my first break up. Unsure of a future in my Applied Math major and suffering from heartache, I took a break from school. I began worked unskilled jobs and wrote during my free time. Since then, I've have conducted tons of interviews (with Celebs and people who SHOULD be celebs), taken my fair share of readers on myspace (300+), written feature articles for nationally respected website, and became Music Editor of a wellknown sneaker culture magazine. Today, I'm in school, working, and following my passion of writing.
