For us Political Science majors, Super Tuesday - aka February 5th - is nothing short of a holiday, a day when our futures will be decided. For everyone else...well...we probably seem a little crazy. But if you haven't heard already, Super Tuesday is SUPER important. Tomorrow, 24 states across the US (plus American Samoa...) will be holding their primaries for the 2008 presidential elections - many of these are key states in deciding who will get the nomination for president from the Republican and Democratic sides. Some have even referred to it as The Tuesday of Destiny!

The states voting tomorrow are:

Alabama
Arkansas
Delaware
Missouri
New Mexico Democrats
North Dakota
Oklahoma
Utah
West Virginia Republicans
Alaska
Arizona
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Georgia
Idaho Democrats
Illinois
Kansas Democrats
Massachusetts
Minnesota
Montana Republicans
New Jersey
New York
Tennessee

By the time the results roll in from these 24 key states on Tuesday evening, the outcome of the primaries will begin to look a lot clearer and candidates - and voters - will start gearing up for the general election as a clear frontrunner for each party's nomination emerges. If you're in a Super Tuesday state, make sure to vote tomorrow, and check out all day Super Tuesday coverage on CNN or online at CNN.com, which is one of the best websites for concise, easy to understand election info and results.
